Decision Compass is a product of Naked Lobsters. These Terms of Use govern your use of the Decision Compass App and the Decision Compass Guided service at decisioncompass.io. By using either, you agree to these terms.

2. What These Terms Cover
These Terms of Use apply to:
Decision Compass App — a self-serve, AI-assisted decision-clarity tool (one-time payment)
Decision Compass Guided — a facilitator-led version of the same process, delivered online.
By using either product, you agree to these terms.
3. Age Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old to use Decision Compass. By starting a session or booking Decision Compass Guided, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.
4. Not Professional Advice
Decision Compass provides a structured, AI-assisted reflection process to help you gain clarity on a decision you're facing. It does not constitute and should not be treated as:
Professional coaching or therapy
Legal, financial, medical, or career advice
A substitute for professional support
The reflections, summaries, and questions Decision Compass generates, including anything produced by AI, are built from and reflect your own words. The clarity you arrive at, is yours. The decision you make is yours.
Decision Compass is not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent, or manage any mental health condition. If you are experiencing significant emotional distress or a mental health crisis, please seek appropriate professional support before using the tool.
Naked Lobsters accepts no liability for decisions made as a result of using Decision Compass.
5. Decision Compass App - Payment & Refunds
The Decision Compass App is a one-time payment of £147 that unlocks the full resolution process and produces your personal Decision Compass record.
If you've paid for the App, that payment always counts toward a Decision Compass Guided call if you'd like one, redeemable within a limited window from purchase (currently 10 days) This credit applies regardless of whether you completed the App or how it went for you. Ask us at [email protected] if you're unsure whether your credit is still valid.
We reserve the right to update, modify, or withdraw the App at any time, without affecting sessions already purchased.
6. Guided Compass Guided
Decision Compass Guided is a facilitator-led service delivered online by Caroline Grubb and/or Iain Saunders of Naked Lobsters.
Booking & Payment:
Payment is required in full at the time of booking
Cancellation & Rescheduling:
Reschedule any time up to 24 hours before your call at no charge. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, or don't show, the session fee is forfeited — no exceptions. This isn't a penalty. It's what keeps the process moving instead of becoming one more thing to circle.
What We Deliver:
We commit to holding a skilled, safe, and well-prepared facilitated space. We do not guarantee a specific outcome, decision, or result. The work requires your honest participation.
Right to Refuse Service We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services where we believe the service is unsuitable, where a participant behaves abusively, or where continuing would be inappropriate. In such circumstances we may provide a full or partial refund at our discretion.
7. One Session, One Locked Decision
Once you commit to a decision within a Decision Compass session, that session is locked: your brain dump, gains and costs, values, decision, and commitment become read-only. You cannot edit or restart a locked session.
Before locking, you can add further considerations to your decision justification, but this appends to your record rather than rewriting it.
After locking, you can still return to view your record at any time via your secure access link.
This reflects the way Decision Compass is designed to work: it captures where you landed at a specific moment, so it stays a genuine record you can return to, not a document you can quietly rewrite later.
8. Your Responses And Our Content
Your inputs: you retain ownership of the information and responses you provide through Decision Compass. By submitting them, you grant us the limited rights necessary to operate the service, generate your AI-assisted reflections, and deliver your Decision Compass record.
Our intellectual property: all content, methodology, prompts, AI reflection framework, and product design behind Decision Compass are the intellectual property of Naked Lobsters. This includes but is not limited to:
The Decision Compass decision-clarity methodology and flow
The AI prompts and reflection logic used to generate your session's outputs
The Decision Compass record format, design, and language
You may not reproduce, reverse-engineer, scrape, teach, or commercialise any part of Decision Compass's methodology or tool logic without written permission from Naked Lobsters.
9. Accessing Your Decision Compass Record
Decision Compass does not use passwords or accounts. Once you complete a paid session, we send you a secure, time-limited link by email (via our provider, Funnel Launch) so you can view and download your Decision Compass record whenever you want to.
If a link has expired, you can request a new one at any time by emailing [email protected].
10. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at decisioncompass.io/privacy. By using Decision Compass, you confirm that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy, including how we use AI to process your session content.
11. Limitation Of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Subject to the above, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:
Naked Lobsters is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss arising from use of Decision Compass
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the App or Guided service
We do not guarantee that AI-generated reflections will be free of error or misclassification
Our total liability in any circumstance is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant service
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumers may also have rights under the laws of their country of residence.
13. Changes To These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The current version will always be published at decisioncompass.io/terms. Continued use of Decision Compass after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
